I recently read a post where it began with the question...How do we ensure AI enhances creativity rather than diminishes it? Can designers integrate AI into their workflows without losing the essence of human-driven craft?

These questions hit home because I've had this story living in my head and heart for decades, a little tale about sunrise greetings in city magic that I've always wanted to share. You know that passion project that whispers to you year after year, tugging at your creative soul? This was mine.

Then something unexpected happened. While exploring AI tools during my career transition, I stumbled into a creative partnership I never saw coming. Not with a writing group or an editor, but with AI. Yes, I know as a designer, I had my reservations too.

But here's what I discovered, AI didn't write my story. I did.

Instead, AI became like that fellow designer friend who sits with you over a Matcha latte or a Hojicha, sketching or doodling on napkins, saying "What if you tried it this way?" or "Have you considered this visual approach?" Every word and vision still flowed from my heart, every emotion drawn from real moments I've witnessed on city streets, every bit of wisdom shaped by genuine moments in my life.

The breakthrough wasn't just about technology, it was about giving myself permission to evolve as a designer. To play. To explore. To finally take my passion project off the "someday" shelf and ask, "Well... why not now?"

And somehow, between my decades-old dream and this new tool in my creative toolbox, hashtag#TheHappySunrisePromise was born. It's a story about an uncle who starts each day with meditation, teaching his niece/goddaughter that a sunrise greeting can transform someone's entire day and your own.

For anyone sitting on their dream project: perhaps the path to creating it looks different than you imagined. And that's perfectly okay.

Sometimes the most powerful partnerships are the ones that challenge our creative assumptions and push us to grow in unexpected ways. https://a.co/d/7iFUx0L
